This on farm techniques course runs through a range of processes and practices that commonly occur on the modern dairy farm. It is designed to give an overview on “how to” carry out these procedures including the background be hind the procedure, top tips and tools required.

Learning Objectives:

Procedures covered include, but are not limited to:

  • Sampling – faeces, milk, blood
  • Aggers pumping
  • Bloat treatment for calves
  • Metrichecking
  • Teat sealing
